I love scary stories. Nothing gets me ready for a long night of not being able to sleep like a couple of old Creepypastas from the archives. Very few scary stories are actually able to scare the daylights out of me as an adult. When I was a kid, any run-of-the-mill Slenderman or Jeff The Killer story could chill me to my bones, but that was because, in my innocence, I actually believed they were real. These days, if I want a horror story, I want one that's short, effective, and leaves me wanting more. In short, they should quit while they're ahead.
